Trust & safety

Built so families can explore with confidence.

Transparency is part of the promise. Here's exactly how listings are checked, what our confidence signals mean, and how we protect your privacy.

How listings are checked

  1. Submitted

Anyone can add a display. New listings start as pending - they aren't shown publicly yet.

  2. Reviewed

Listings are checked before going live, and removed from public view if a problem is confirmed.

  3. Confirmed by the community

Families tap “was this still here?” after visiting. Recent confirmations raise Family Confidence.

What “Family Confidence” means

A calm alternative to public star ratings - it reflects how fresh and complete a listing is, never a popularity contest or a guarantee.

  • High family confidenceConfirmed very recently, with accessibility and viewing details.
  • Good family confidenceConfirmed recently or well-described by the creator.
  • Limited infoListed, but with fewer details - worth a quick check before you go.
  • Needs confirmationNot confirmed for a while, or a few visitors flagged it.
  • Reported issueHidden from public view while our team reviews it.

Reporting, done kindly

Found something wrong? A quiet “report an issue” sits on every listing - no public comments, no pile-ons. To protect creators from unfair takedowns, a single report never removes a display on its own: serious reports from several different people are needed before a listing is hidden for review. Everything else is queued for our team.

Your privacy

  • Locations can be shown approximately, so a home is never pinpointed exactly.
  • Exploring is anonymous - no account or login is required.
  • “Near me” runs in your browser and only asks for GPS when you tap it.
  • Reports use a salted, one-way fingerprint to stop spam - we never store your IP.
